About:

Born in Trinidad and raised in Brooklyn, Eshama’s style influence comes from his mother. Her unique attention to detail in Interior design and fashion was his inspiration to begin his journey to become a photographer. Growing up, capturing memories were essential since he didn’t have many pictures taken of himself. He received his first camera at the age 22 of from one of his colleagues in Job Corp, and that is where the passion began. In 2011, he began shooting events and learned how to use lighting. In 2015, his love for portrait photography grew and he began expanding his portfolio. 

Style:

Eshama’s photography is heavily centered around the use of light and shadow, color, beauty, fashion, and style. The purpose is to celebrate and showcase life's beauty and it’s many facets. He takes pride in taking photos of everyone. In particular, capturing women of color as subjects that embeds and memorializes his late mother within his images. The focus for him is capturing his unique perspective on the powerful presence of Black Women.

Eshama stays passionately motivated by great energy, feedback, teamwork, and an enjoyable environment that includes great music. As he continues to expand his network and advance his skill sets, Eshama will continue to develop great partnerships and will always but his best foot forward. 

Goal:

Eshama's goal is to create a relaxed environment during the pre-production and production stages of a photoshoot. Creating an overall experience that provides good energy and quality work for his clients is vidal. Keeping his clients happy and eager to continue to work together is his priority. Also, the ability of creating images that will live on for a lifetime and be passed down through generations.
